THE APOLLO PAVILION

VICTOR PASMORE 

Apollo Pavilion also known as Pasmore Pavilion is a piece of public art in the town of Peterlee. It is made of reinforced concrete consisting of large geometric white concrete. The structure spans over a small lake with a pathway for pedestrians linking both halls of the estate.

In 2004 The Baltic Centre For Contemporary Art in Gateshead commissioned Jane and aLouise Wilson to make a video installation of the Apollo Pavilion.
